The Will Kill For You Story
Will Kill For You started with a simple idea, connecting people who love great meat with the farmers who raise it.
Johnno Stephens has been working as a mobile butcher for over 10 years, building strong relationships with local farmers and producers along the way. Over time, he saw an opportunity to do things a bit differently, bring high-quality meat straight from the paddock to customers who want to know where their food actually comes from.
Instead of going through the big supply chain where beasts disappear into the system, we work directly with farmers we know and trust. You're getting a premium meat product with a real story behind it.
Proper Paddock-to-Plate
We believe good meat starts with good farming.
The meat we source come from producers who care about their land, their animals and the quality of what they produce. Many of these farms run smaller herds with plenty of country to graze, which means the animals are well looked after and grow naturally.
The result? Consistently high-quality meat you can feel good about feeding your family.
You Choose the Beast
One of the big differences with what we do is the level of choice.
We don't just grab something from the saleyards to fill an order. Instead, we help you choose exactly what you want.
You might be after:
- Grass fed or grain fed beef
- A certain breed
- A steer that's perfect for the smoker
- A whole animal for a big event or spit roast
If you know what you're looking for, chances are we know the farmer who has it.
Buy a Share, Fill the Freezer
Rather than selling individual cuts, we focus on whole-animal sales, which keeps things fair for farmers and ensures nothing goes to waste.
You can order:
- A quarter beast
- A half beast
- Or a whole beast
Many customers split an order with family or friends. Once the animal is processed and ready, we organise delivery and your freezer gets stocked with quality cuts.
Meet Johnno
Johnno grew up around cattle and country life. His dad was a police officer in the Stock Squad for 40 years, and much of his childhood was spent helping on farms, feeding cattle, mustering and learning the ropes.
Over the years he's spent a lot of time judging cattle at agricultural shows and competitions, developing a sharp eye for what makes a good animal. That knowledge now goes into selecting the best livestock for customers.
When someone asks, "Which one should we butcher?" the answer is simple:
The one we'd happily eat ourselves, butchered to the same standard we'd expect on our own family dinner table.
Built on Trust
The biggest advantage we have is the relationships built over years in the industry.
We know the farmers. We know how the animals are raised. And we stand behind the quality of what we supply.
If something isn't right, we won't sell it! Simple as that.
Supporting Farmers and Feeding Families
At the end of the day, our goal is to keep things honest.
Customers get top-quality beef straight from the source, and farmers are paid fairly for the animals they've worked hard to raise.
From the farm to the butcher to your freezer, it's a simple system and it works.
Paddock Raised. Family Served.
